【摘要】:Thistestmethodisspecificallydesignedtomeasuretheperformanceofadhesivesinfingerjointsmanufacturedunderproductionlineconditions.Theresultsofthetestmethodmaybeusedtocertifyanadhesiveassuitableforfingerjointinglumberunderproduction-lineconditionswheretheintendedenduseofthefingerjointedlumberwillbeinastructuralgluedlaminatedtimber.Whenthetestresultsaretobeusedforcertificationofanadhesiveforthispurpose,useastandardwoodspeciesandastandardfingerprofile.StandardspeciesmaybefoundinTable1ofSpecificationD2559.TwostandardfingerprofilescommonlyusedinthemanufactureofstructuralgluedlaminatedtimberindustryareshowninFig.1.3Thistestmethodisnotintendedforqualitycontrolasthetestassembliesareselectedfortheirabsenceofdefectsusuallyfoundinrun-of-the-milllumberandfingerjoints.Note8212;RecommendedbyAmericanInstituteofTimberConstruction.3FIG.1StandardJointProfilesforCertificationTests1.1Thistestmethodisdesignedtoevaluateadhesivesforfingerjointinglumberusedinthemanufactureofstructuralgluedlaminatedtimber.Itteststhetensilestrengthofjointsunderthefollowingtreatments;drywithnotreatment,wetafteronevacuum-pressuresoaktreatment,andwetaftercyclicboil-drytreatment.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsareusedtodeterminetraceamountsofvolatilechloridesinbutane-butenemixtures.Suchinformationisvaluableincaseswherechlorideisdeleteriousintheuseofthisproduct;also,chloridecontributestocorrosionproblemsinprocessingunitsininstanceswherefurtherprocessingofthismaterialisinvolved.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthetotalvolatileorganicchloridesinconcentrationsfrom10to100ppminbutane-butenemixtures.Theamperometricfinishisnotdirectlyapplicableinthepresenceofothersubstancesthatcombinewithsilverionoroxidizechlorideionindiluteacidsolution.Bromides,sulfides,ammonia,tobaccosmoke,andmorethan25181gofhydrogenperoxideinthetestsolutioninterfereinthespectrophotometricprocedure.1.2Dissolvedsodiumchlorideisnotquantitativelydeterminedusingthesetestmethods.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarningstatementsaregiveninSections5,8,11,14,19,andAnnexA1.
